COURSE OBJECTIVES
H2S is present at many facilities in the petroleum industry and must be managed and controlled to minimize risks. This course is designed for personnel who need to increase their safety awareness of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) in their workplace and explore ways to mitigate their exposure and their colleagues’ exposure. This course offers a solid foundation to increase the understanding of H2S by incorporating OSHA guidelines, 29 CFR 1910.1200, Hazard Communication and ANSI/ASSE Z390.1-2006 standards.
